Leadership is relational: rooted within larger ecosystems of relationships and communities. I support individuals and groups in building trust, alignment, and collective power across the ecosystems they move within.

What we stand for:

I honor ancestral knowledge and cultural memory as leadership tools. Together, we reconnect to inherited strength, purpose, and community wisdom.

Leadership is a dynamic, ever-unfolding process. I help leaders and organizations adapt with intention, co-creating in response to change rather than rigid plans.

Community-Centered & Ecological

Transformation doesn’t come from fear or urgency. It comes from compassion. It’s the foundation for healing ourselves and our communities.

We are already whole, even as we grow. I center your emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being so you can lead with clarity and authenticity.

Wholeness

That turning point led me back to myself. Through yoga and deepening my spiritual practice, I began to feel safe in my body again. I rooted into a sense of belonging that wasn’t performance-based. My leadership began to shift from hypervigilance to presence, from proving to being.

Hi, I'm Patti

I’ve worked inside the kinds of organizations and with the leaders I now support: mission-driven, under-resourced, and full of heart.

At one nonprofit where I was on staff, we cycled through five executive directors in four years. I stayed, doing my best to hold things together through constant instability and chronic underfunding. I’ve built DEI initiatives from the ground up without a roadmap and coached leaders through the emotional weight of holding too much, too fast.

My early path led me to a Master’s in Public Health at Columbia University, driven by a deep desire to serve my community as a daughter of Filipino immigrants. I spent the next decade leading immigrant health campaigns, securing resources for BIPOC communities as the Deputy to New York City's first Chief Diversity Officer, and advising on inclusion for Broadway productions like Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and Funny Girl. I was proud of the impact, and also painfully aware of how much I was sacrificing to make it happen.

Eventually, I hit a breaking point. I turned down a major promotion and $20,000 raise, not because I didn’t want it, but because fear and self-doubt had quietly taken the driver’s seat. Burnout and anxiety had become my baseline.

A sudden DEI funding cut ended my role. But instead of spiraling, I chose rest. I took a sabbatical as a deliberate return. I reconnected with my roots, reclaimed my rhythm, and remembered the kind of leader I wanted to be.
I bring both strategic clarity and embodied wisdom, guiding clients to lead in ways that are aligned with their values, connected to their communities, and grounded in cultural and spiritual wholeness.

Then came the layoff...

That space changed everything. It gave me the clarity and courage to build Malaya Solutions.

with compassion, rootedness, and integrity.

Today, I work with mission-led organizations and women of color leaders who care deeply and are ready to lead differently:

I partner with them to imagine and build something better: lives and organizations rooted in authenticity, resilience, and collective care.

I don’t just help people navigate broken systems.
